About Tom
The person behind the paintings.
Paint by Hand,
Universe by Imagination
Born in Chicago, Tom Goetz studied art through middle and high school, shaped by the bold visions of Andy Warhol, Peter Max, Frank Frazetta, and the timeless worlds of Disney. Those influences never left — they just evolved. Over the years Tom has worked in every medium across every genre: portraits, florals, seascapes, landscapes, and abstracts. Acrylic is where he lives, drawn to its luster and texture, and that lifelong range has found its fullest expression in the vibrant, colorful pop art world he's known for today — Star Wars, gaming, fantasy, classic cars, and the kind of unexpected mashups that make you stop mid-scroll.
His work has reached beyond the studio too. Tom has painted large-scale murals throughout Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami, and took home the Award of Distinction at the prestigious 2007 Sunfest for his unique style and technique. When he's not at the easel, he's likely on stage — an accomplished guitarist with a style forged through 80s hair metal band performances. Two mediums, one relentless creative drive.
Every piece is hand-painted start to finish — no AI, no digital shortcuts, no prints-of-prints. Just paint, brushes, and however many hours it takes to get it right. Tom takes custom commissions — if you can dream it, he can paint it.
